How do I turn a photo into a prompt?

The Image scanner node looks at the image you connect and writes a complete render prompt: materials, light, atmosphere and framing. Pick the time of day (morning, midday, afternoon, golden hour, blue hour or night) and the weather (clear, overcast, light rain, fog or snow), and run it.

Its output is text: connect it to a Generator's text input, and connect your base image to that Generator's image input too. It has a second mode, “Exploded axonometric”, with its own article.

The Scanner costs no tokens, but image analysis is for paid plans (from Basic). The Generator charges for the render.
