How do I render my 3D model (SketchUp, Revit, Blender)?
Create a 3D model node and load your file: .glb, .gltf, .obj, .dae, .kmz or .fbx, with its textures (.mtl, .bin, png, jpg…). You can also drop the whole folder on the canvas. From SketchUp, export as KMZ (textures included) or as DAE with its textures folder: .skp files can't be opened in the browser. If the model arrives lying down, as happens with some from Revit, Blender or AutoCAD, turn on “Z axis up”.
Double-click to open the viewer: orbit, or use “Look” to turn the camera in place for interiors; pick a quick view (isometric, front, sides, aerial or pedestrian), adjust the field of view, edges, ambient occlusion, camera clipping, background and aspect ratio, and save scenes to come back to. Once you have the framing, press “Use this view” (or Enter): the view stays on the node as an image, and you connect it to a Generator as the base.
The model isn't uploaded to the cloud: it lives in your tab. If you reload the page, the node asks for the same file again; scenes, settings and the chosen view are saved with the project. The node costs no tokens.
