How do I relight a photo and change where the light comes from?

With the Relight app, under Apps on the dashboard. Upload a photo or a render as JPG or PNG, up to 20 MB (you can also drop it, paste it with Ctrl + V or pick it from your gallery), and choose where the light comes from: with the six «Quick select» buttons (Top, Front, Right, Left, Back and Bottom) or by dragging the cone of the direction control, which snaps in 45° steps: there are 26 possible directions. Then pick the light type, soft or hard, its brightness (10 to 100 %) and its color, and press «Generate». Only the light changes: the architecture, the materials and the framing stay the same. «Reset» brings back the starting light: from the front, soft, at 50 % and white.

Each image costs 20 tokens and comes out at 2K on paid plans. «Use 7 cinematic light directions» makes 7 versions of your photo, each lit from another side (from the front, from 45° above on the left and on the right, from each side, from straight above and from behind), for 140 tokens. Relight comes with every paid plan; on the free trial, which only includes Archinode AI, it shows a lock and the way to the plans. If an image doesn't come out, its tokens are refunded.

Compare before and after with the slider and download the result as PNG, JPG, WebP or PDF. Every result stays in the app's history and in your Gallery. You can publish it to Community, with the original photo as the «before», use it as the image to try another light, or take it to Nodes, the Upscaler or Transitions. To change the time of day of a render, use the Lighting node in Nodes.
