How do I turn a render into a hyper-realistic photo?

With the Enhance render node. It takes a render — even a half-finished one — to a hyper-realistic photo without touching the design: geometry, layout and framing stay fixed. Connect the render to its input and, if you like, a Text node with notes (“keep the brass hardware”).

Pick the intensity: Subtle keeps materials and light and only adds photographic realism; Balanced (default) gives real materials and believable natural light, faithful to the design; Maximum re-photographs everything and keeps only the geometry fixed. Then pick the engine: NanoBanana Turbo, on every plan, or NanoBanana PRO and GPT Image PRO, from Standard.

The “Photographic finish”, on by default, is a second pass that re-details everything with photographic texture: it adds 60 tokens, works at 1K and is available from Standard. With NanoBanana Turbo plus the finish, an enhancement costs 80 tokens; without the finish, just what the engine costs. “Compare” shows you the before and after. It's also the “Enhance” tab of the image editor.
